AntiGravity yoga turns yoga upside-down

Imagine a yoga class without mats.
Instructors Liz Finley and Lisa Muehlenbein, above, demonstrate some of the positions they use during AntiGravity yoga.
Instead, participants use a piece of thin fabric to swing, sway, swoop and hang upside-down above the floor.
“It’s liberating,” said Alice Armstrong after her first experience. “It exceeded my expectations.”
When Lisa Muehlenbein, owner of Zen Studios, made the announcement that she would begin offering AntiGravity yoga — a type of aerial yoga — she said the first class filled up in two days.
